Sport Profiles

The Ignite watch supports over 100 different sports and you can add all your favourite sports to your watch in the Polar Flow app. Each sport comes with a different profile that provides the most suitable metrics you need for tracking your chosen sport.

Advanced Wrist-Based Heart Rate

The watch comes with an in-built Precision Prime sensor fusion technology which provides high-tech heart rate monitoring. This helps you keep track of your stress and fitness levels.

The latest Polar feature the FitSpark training guide offers ready-made daily on-demand workouts that match your recovery, fitness level and training history. This allows you to instantly get on with your training.

Serene Breathing Exercise

When the stresses and strain get to you, whether it’s from pushing yourself too hard during training or from lives daily stresses, the watch comes with breathing exercises that helps you relax your body and mind and helps you manage your stress levels throughout the day.  

Swimming Metrics

Water resistance up to 30m the watch can be used for swim training and during swimming the watch automatically detects your heart rate, swimming style, distance, pace, strokes and rest times.

Smart Calories

The Polar Ignite offers accurate information on how many calories you’ve burned by using your weight, height, age, gender, your individual maximum heart rate and how hard you’re training.

Activity Guide

To keep you moving the watch can be set up to provide personalised daily activity goals that motivate you throughout the day to keep active. The Polar Flow app will then clearly show you how active you’ve been and provides practical tips on how to reach your activity goals.

Running Index

The watch estimates your VO2max based on your running which can accurately, at a glance show you how your running performance is developing.

Training Benefit

Following each of your training sessions receive Training Benefit feedback via the Polar Flow app. The system provides motivating feedback from your workouts which can push you to achieve even more through your next training session. Training Benefit will show how different types of workouts improve different areas of your fitness.
