Since 2009 the Nukeproof Mega has been on a constant development to meet the demands of Nukeproof's riders and customers alike. As a result, the Mega Carbon V4 frame is available for 27.5”, 29” or new Mixed (Front 29”/Rear 27.5” wheel sizes) wheel setups, with each frame design tailored around each wheel size.

Full Suspension Carbon Fibre MTB Frame

To optimise the weight, strength and stiffness, the Mega Carbon frame features a T700/800 UD woven carbon fibre frameset (Front and rear Triangle). The carbon swingarms helps reduce the unsprung weight on the rear of the bike, improving suspension performance. All forged parts are made from 6061-T6 aluminium.

Nukeproof's Ultimate Enduro Race Bike

After winning four Enduro World Series Titles in three years the V4 design is an evolution of Nukeproof's ultimate enduro bike. At the heart of the frame is the brand's revised suspension Kinematic, designed to be more subtle off the top, whilst remaining progressive and predictable. Anti-Squat is used to create an effective pedalling bike that can be thrashed through technical terrain. The useable SAG range is also widened to allow riders to tune the suspension to the trails.

The updated Mega frame geometry features dynamic saddle offset which is designed to optimise seated rider weight distribution on each frame size. This is achieved through a seat angle that is bespoke to each frame size. In addition, the actual seat tube is designed to be shorter overall with a bigger maximum insert depth so as to allow a longer dropper post if required.

EXT STORIA LOK V3 Rear Shock

The STORIA LOK V3 offers the revolutionary LOK Technology that allows a complete compression separate lock-out system, now totally renewed with a new design, a more progressive opening, and a totally silent working.

In order to allow every rider to use a softer spring rate and increase bike traction and handling, EXT engineers have imported from ARMA the hydraulic bottom-out system named HBC (Hydraulic Bottom-out Control), capable to develop more than 50% of hydraulic force only on the last part of the stroke, allowing riders to avoid any kind of bottom-out issues.

This technology allows the use of thinner bottom-out bumpers, increasing the amount of useful travel.

The STORIA V3 is also designed to serve riders who want the maximum performance of a pedal-platform equipped shock, with great support on the last millimetres of bike rear travel, with the great performance of a coil-over shock.
