Clip and Grip

If you clip out, maybe to get a leg out on a steep turn, the grippy Stealth® Marathon rubber tread holds firm on the pedal body until you clip back in.

Should you need to hike the trail, the tenacious hold of the grippy Stealth® Marathon rubber tread also excels. Skip and jump and scramble over any terrain with confidence.  A cushioned midsole adds comfort and flexibility for hiking and some extra shock absorption when riding rougher terrain. 

Boa® Fit System

In order to give you a snug and comfortable fit, Five Ten have turned to the Boa® Fit System. This dial pulls smooth running laces to apply tension to wide straps across the foot. This spreads pressure evenly and ensures you enjoy excellent foot stability when pedalling. A simple twist fore or aft applies or loosens the fit, giving precise adjustment, even on the go.

A hook and loop strap also adds an extra level of security and stability, preventing any slippage or heel lift when you're riding.

The combination of durable synthetic materials and mesh zones gives a shoe that offers instant comfort. Abrasion-resistant zones are also deployed, boosting durability and ensuring the rough and tumble of mountain biking doesn't take its toll on your footwear.

At the toe extra overlays offer more protection, resisting the knocks of hidden tree roots, boulders and debris kicked up off the trail. At the ankle, the integrated neoprene collar also prevents the ingress of mud and dirt while still offering plenty of flexibility.
