Polartec® Alpha®

Warmth without weight is made possible thanks to the Polartec® Alpha® active insulation. Created specifically for highly aerobic activities, Alpha® gives you incredible warmth while maintaining superb moisture control. As your efforts rise and fall in synchrony with the terrain, it keeps you brilliantly comfortable.

Two-Layer Construction

The outer layer is made from waterproof Polartec® NeoShell®. With its four-way stretch, it gives a snug but flexible fit for efficient pedalling while preventing rain from getting inside. Critical seams are taped externally to prevent water from seeping in. It’s breathable too, preventing excess sweat build-up.

Separate to the outer is the insulated Alpha layer mentioned above. This features its own zipper separate from the zipper of the outer layer. This lets you choose how you want to ventilate and regulate temperature. During a climb or hard efforts open up the outer to boost airflow. This keeps you drier and sweat-free for when you zip back up for the fast downhill or you back off the pace.

Performance Features

All the details needed for a comfortable winter ride have been honed. A no-sew bonded waist hem gives a snug and flat fit. Anatomic cuffs work with winter gloves to fully seal out the elements. And reflective Reflex details keep you more visible in low light.
