Assos Women's UMA GTV Bib Shorts C2

Taking feedback on their renowned T.LaalalaiShorts_s7, Assos have given their women's specific bib short design a new lease of life with improvements to fabrics, fit and convenience. The result of their hard work is the Women's UMA GTV Bib Shorts C2.

When it comes to taking a quick nature break and getting going again, the 'Bisilick' twin magnetic closure system takes the fuss out of the situation.  The old single front closure has been replaced by a twin magnetic closure to the back. This is more comfortable and secure when in the saddle but offers easy convenience for pit stops. 

Improvements have also been made to the fabrics. Ossidia fabric has been deployed, reducing overall weight while making no compromise to elasticity, compression, or UV protection (UPF50+). You'll also remain cool and fresh thanks to odour control and active cooling. These are permanent characteristics, permanently integrated into the material itself, not applied as a topical treatment

The X-Frame bib design stabilises the UMA GT seat pad perfectly in place, ensuring comfort at all times and preventing irritation as you pedal.  An updated AEPD (Advanced Ergonomic Pattern Design) also realises even greater comfort, with a beautiful fit for all types of rider.

Assos AEPD (Advanced Ergonomic Pattern Design) Regular Fit 

Finding the perfect harmony of long-ride comfort and smooth, flexible fit, the Assos AEPD Regular Fit is based upon Assos' race models but it's more accommodating of different shapes and sizes.

At the waist, the more forgiving zeroPressure design, with Tech Sheen Mesh insert across the abdomen, also keeps the shorts beautifully in place while allowing optimal flexibility for deep breathing and low riding positions. 

The comfort also extends to the Ultralight leg grippers. 6mm in depth and minus seams, they provide a secure non-bulge fit while giving a smooth and uninterrupted transition from shorts to skin.

Women's UMA GT C2 Insert

With 9mm of cushioning and the 'floating' design of goldenGate location to move the pad with your body not against you, the Women's UMA GT C2 pad is intensely comfortable, supportive and shock-absorbing. Compressive foam layers provide endurance-focused support on the saddle.

The 3D Waffle design uses a three-layer construction, with perforated foams to enhance breathability and airflow. Thermoformed shaping reduces ridges and irritation while the odour-resistant top sheet maintains freshness.
